Oh this waiting - there is this odd sense inside me - a sort of psychic understanding I have with my body. It does not want to let go...I can sense this. Always happens when I begin a fitness plan...so I'm hoping in the next week or two, the "let go" feeling will come and I can increase the weekly weight loss a bit - I'm shooting for 1.5 pounds a week. This .5 pound thing is tedious. But I march on. I feel better getting back to the gym and though the weight loss is minimal - I have taken off an inch in my pants...so toning is happening - and that makes me feel less like jello. :)

Hey, better to lose half a pound than to gain it. Hang in there, MBZ. Here's a nifty trick -- have you tried brushing your teeth when you get hungry? That helps me. That minty fresh feeling is a real appetite killer.
